What is Boudoir photography?
The word boudoir itself derives from a French word which means a woman’s private salon, or bedroom. So, I am simply capturing intimate moments in a private setting. However, I believe these intimate moments can be captured anywhere you feel comfortable.
Why should I invest in a boudoir session?
Boudoir is extremely empowering. No matter your view on yourself you will walk away feeling even better than when you arrived. And even more so after we review your session & you receive your album.
What if I don't know how to pose?
Throughout your entire session I will guide you through every pose & confirm your comfort.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! I believe every woman should have a boudoir session at least once in their lifetime.
Where will the session take place?
Every session is unique, I am now offering my own in-home studio, we can use your home or we can choose an air bnb that best suits your style.
Do you edit my images?
Yes! All photos you receive will be edited versions. With that said I try to keep our bodies as natural as possible when editing. If you specify that you don't want certain markings to show I will do my best to remove it.
Who will see my photos?
Privacy is TOP priority. You will choose how your photos are or are not shared. You will have options to:
- Keep your photos 100% private
- Sign a partial release allowing me to only share photos that do not show your face or any identifying markings on any social media or marketing materials
- Sign a partial release allowing me to share your photos in my women's only group
- Sign a full release to use your photos for any social media or marketing materials
Do you have a client closet? What should I wear?
As much as I love the idea, no, I do not have a client closet. If the wardrobe didn't include undergarments I would feel differently; but sharing undergarments doesn't sit right with me. With that said, at the time of booking we will go over clothing articles you already own (doesn't have to be lingerie specifically) and I can share my list of amazing outfits.
Do you provide hair or makeup?
At this time no.
How soon can I expect my images?
Most sessions are edited & delivered via an online gallery within just a couple days. Please keep in mind I am a wife & mom, sometimes curve balls are thrown into the mix, but I always do my best to let clients know if something will take a little longer.
